"The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers,
and practice regular charity" Qur’an 9:18

 “Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise” Agreed upon Hadith

ICB  Status

§   1990: Established ICB for Da’wa & educational activities in the region.

§   Operated in private homes & rented apartments for 8 years

§   1998: Established Masjid Al-Hedaya in  Rented office space (1000 sq ft)

§   2004: Expanded Masjid to 2000 sq ft

§   2004: Established “Kids Heaven Childcare & Learning Center”

§   Kids Heaven is certified for 35 children.  Currently, is growing with a waiting list and need more space.

§   Monthly rent is ~ $3,500 ($42,000/year, ~$200,000 in past 10 years)

§   ICB would pay ~$500,000 in rent for the NEXT 10 years

·   Rent is a Waste of Muslim’s wealth

·   Unstable operation - Rent always rising

·   Layout is not optimum

·   Can’t customize

ICB  Activities

§   Full Function Masjid (Resident Imam sponsored by Egyptian Awqaf):.

C Daily prayers, Friday Jumu’ah, Ramadan Taraweeh & Qiam, & Eid

C Social and Athletic activities

C Quranic & Islamic Lessons

C Intellectual Meetings and Dialogues

§   Activities on Virginia Tech campus

C Friday prayer, Daily Zuhr and Asr prayers, lecture and invited speakers.

§   Da’wa Activities:

C Church visits & invited lectures

C Open house events at the Masjid

C Printed brochures and media

§   Equipped with Video conferencing and internet (Remote Lectures)

ICB  Constitution

§     ICB is a NON-PROFIT organization - IRS, Tax ID Number 54-1531118

§     ICB operates within the framework of Qur'an and Sunnah according to the methodology of the people of Sunnah and Jama'ah

§     ICB Assets & building estate will be the property of the North American Islamic Trust

Masjid Al-Hedaya Prayer Hall: upper level, ~4000 Sq ft

ICB Da’wa/Activity Center: basement ~4000 Sq ft

Blacksburg Islamic School: School Bldg, ~3000 Sq ft

Kids Heaven Childcare: School Bldg, ~3000 Sq ft

8 Residential (Rental) Units: Residential Bldg, ~600 Sq ft each

Both the childcare and the residential units are to produce income and generate funds for Da’wa activities and pay for the running costs of the Islamic center
